WORKSHOP TECHNICIAN
Moss Jaguar LTD specialises in the Brokerage, Restoration and Servicing of the evocative Jaguar E-Type. From our Hertfordshire workshop, based in an early 1900’s industrial printing factory, we are a family run business with a small but dedicated team and work day to day with some of the most fabulous E-Type examples. Our enthusiastic team always strive to achieve the highest level of finish and are taught to use the original factory standard as a baseline, especially in our nut and bolt restorations. With integrity at the heart of everything we do, we share a vast wealth of knowledge as well as upholding an outstanding level of expertise and professionalism.
We are looking to add a talented and experienced workshop technician to our team working in our servicing and restoration areas of the workshop. Working under the guidance and supervision of the workshop manager and lead technician, you must have significant mechanical and restoration experience working with pre-1975 Jaguar’s and /or classic cars. You must also provide your own tools.
The successful candidate will be required to support the team in the following areas:
General maintenance and servicing work
Restoration projects
Innovation – upgrades to classic cars
Job Duties include:
Salary: Negotiable
Job type: Full-time, Permanent
Monday – Friday: 9am – 5pm (following a successful 6 month probationary period)
On-site parking is available and there are good access links via public transport.

Job Duties include:
- Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure functional longevity and workplace safety
- Accurately use diagnostic equipment to inspect vehicles and identify issues
- Maintains detailed records of each vehicle including any inspection, repair services performed and any advisories
- Road test vehicles (including automatic transmission)
- Orders and replaces parts and components
- Keeps necessary supplies in stock and places orders to replenish inventory
- Ensures projects are completed effectively and on time
- Maintains their own collection of tools for repairing and testing vehicles and workshop machinery
Salary: Negotiable
