Having been in the motor business for 37 years (running a dealership with 3000 cars a year throughout for a major PLC) I decided DIY servicing of the E-Type was the order of the day since I retired 21 years ago.
I have tried in vain (until now) to find someone that I could trust to carry out jobs beyond my self taught mechanical knowledge. One, five years ago, was a complete disaster on a substantial repair. I spoke to Angus a couple of years ago and I was most impressed and eventually decided to give him a go!
Angus, Murray, Moss and the team have done a tremendous job and driving the 40miles back home was like having a different car (in our ownership since 1988), so I think that I know it quite well!!!
I intend to return in early next year for a service and check over.
Very many thanks to all at Moss Jaguar. Thanks also for the coffee and chocolate biscuits on each of my visits!"

"It was good to see you all again and catch up about the details of all of the work undertaken. It was also fascinating having a tour from Angus, and seeing some of the fine detail of the restoration work currently underway in the workshop.
Do pass on that the car felt noticeably sharper and more surefooted to drive on the way home yesterday, and the traffic allowed for several opportunities to test the new fan! The water temperature never budged beyond a shade over 70 degrees, despite the traffic. I do agree with Angus that the sound of the old starter motor is far more lovely, although the new one is clearly much more powerful. I look forward to finding a drive on less crowded roads over the weekend so I can properly get a feel for the car at higher speeds."

I now know how an E-Type should drive and handle. E-Type from Moss Jaguar, so my wife and I took the Shuttle with a car transporter.
